The provider of the health diary application (app) takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with legal regulations, data protection regulations and this data protection declaration.

Privacy

The use of the app is possible without providing personal data. If personal data (e.g. e-mail address) are collected, this is always on a voluntary basis as far as possible. This data will not be passed on to a third party without your prior express approval.

If you use the feedback function to send us a message, your e-mail address will be sent to us along with the message. This data will only be used to answer your request and, if necessary, to contact you again later in relation to your request.

If data is transferred with personal data between the app and our servers, only a secure and encrypted connection (HTTPS) is used.

We would like to point out that data transmission through the Internet (e.g. when communicating via e-mail) may have security gaps. A complete protection of the data against access by a third party is not possible.

PDF Export Function and Data Deletion

If you use the export function to create a PDF from your entries, the data selected for this purpose will be transmitted in encrypted form to our Firebase servers. This transmission is technically necessary to generate the PDF document.

Storage Period

The processing is carried out as volatile processing. Your data is only kept temporarily in the buffer for the duration of the PDF creation.

Data Deletion

Immediately after the completion of the export process, the temporarily transmitted data is completely and automatically deleted from the servers. There is no permanent storage of your diary contents on our servers. The created PDF file is available for download for up to seven days and will be automatically deleted after this period. Manual deletion by the user is not required and not possible.

Data collection when using the app

The app uses functions of the analytics service Google Analytics and Firebase Analytics. Service provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

In order to diagnose the use of the app, various data of the use of the app are collected. The collected data and reports created are used by us exclusively for this purpose, to adapt the app to user preferences, improve or otherwise develop. Any passing on by us to third parties is excluded now and in the future.

However, no personal data and no content from your entries is transferred to Google. You can object to the collection and processing of this anonymous data. To do this, open the app menu, select the gear icon (Settings) and deactivate the "Send diagnostic information" button.

However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions can take full advantage of.

The information generated about your use of this app is sent anonymously to a server of Google in the USA and stored there. The IP address of your smartphone is also made anonymous before transmission and gives therefore no exact identification of your device. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the app and to compile reports on the activities in the app. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google.
